AT&T has an opening for CORE Network Engineer to support our government customers’ global enterprise networks. Network Architecture provides solutions for modernizing the network components while supporting service delivery for customer requirements in a mission-focused operational enterprise. Additionally, the candidate must have experience with hands-on router engineering and/or operation.
The job duties of the CORE Network Engineer are as follows: • Responsibility for the Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) Wide Area Network (WAN) overall architecture • Developing MPLS WAN services solution • Performing lab equipment evaluation, integration, and testing • Assisting with the security accreditation process • Developing and maintaining relevant technical documentation. • On as-needed basis, the engineer will also be responsible for supporting Tier-4 production troubleshooting and developing pro-active network analysis solution for the operations team.
Required Clearance: TS/SCI CI
Candidate must have 16 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 8 years, master’s and 10 years, bachelor’s and 12 years, associates and 14 years or HS diploma and 16 years. Required qualifications include the following:
